Operations Intern
Kyah Adams is a graduate student in Space Operations at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and holds an undergraduate degree in Political Science with minors in History and Sociology. Her academic background has shaped her deep interest in government, public policy, civic engagement, and the ways political decisions influence communities at every level. Through her studies, Kyah developed a strong foundation in political systems, historical context, social structures, and the importance of advocacy in creating meaningful change.
Kyah is passionate about politics in all forms and is especially committed to making a difference in areas such as immigration, technology policy, women’s rights, education, social justice, civic participation, and the future of public policy. She believes that political awareness is essential to building stronger communities and ensuring that individuals understand both the issues affecting them and the power they have to influence change. Her interests also extend to emerging policy areas, including the relationship between technology, national security, space policy, and society.
With a background that connects political science, history, sociology, and space operations, Kyah brings a unique interdisciplinary perspective to her work. She is particularly interested in how policy can be used to address complex challenges, protect vulnerable communities, support innovation, and create more equitable systems. Whether engaging with domestic policy, global issues, or the future of technology governance, Kyah is driven by a desire to contribute to work that has a real and lasting impact.
As an intern with Political Awareness, Kyah is excited to support research, outreach, advocacy, and communication efforts that help increase public understanding of important political issues. She hopes to use this opportunity to strengthen her voice as an advocate, expand her experience in political engagement, and contribute to initiatives that encourage informed participation in the democratic process. Above all, Kyah is motivated by the belief that politics is not only about institutions and elections, but about people, opportunity, representation, and the ability to create a better future.
