Fellowship Intern
From 2022 – 2025 Madeline worked at the National Democratic Institute on the Central and West Africa Team, supporting programs aiming to promote information integrity, citizen participation, and the inclusion of women, youth, and other marginalized groups in democracy and democratic processes throughout the region. With regional expertise in Francophone West Africa and the Sahel, Madeline is bilingual in English and French.
Madeline received her B.A. in Biology & Society and French from Cornell University in 2020 and her M.S. in Global Studies and International Relations concentrating in Global Health and Development from Northeastern University in 2022. While pursuing her master’s via distance learning, Madeline worked teaching English as a foreign language in the Burgundy region of France.
