Political Awareness

Hi! Madison (Madie) here. I have a BA in Political Science and Philosophy from Ohio Northern University with minor degrees in Public Policy, International Studies, and Gender & Sexuality Studies. In 2023 I graduated with my Masters degree in Applied Politics from the University of Akron.

I have worked a plethora of jobs in the field, from being a lobbyist for legislation with Amnesty International, to a Press Assistant for a former OH Senator, and currently in campaign strategy, activism and finance related to environmental policy and governmental accountability at Ohio Citizen Action and financing director here at Political Awareness.

I am working with Political Awareness because I believe education is the most important form of activism and that voting is one of our most important rights in our democracy in the United States. Informed voters make informed votes, which is what a free and fair democracy is all about.
