Seth Bush is a former U.S. Army officer, strategist, and author with more than a decade of experience in intelligence, strategic planning, and military leadership. Throughout his career, he has served in roles requiring critical analysis, operational planning, and advising senior military leaders on complex national security challenges and worked to develop solutions to complex policy issues.

He is a former member of the West Point Junior Officer Fellowship, a graduate of the Special Operations Campaign Artistry Program, the University of Louisville's Strategic Broadening Fellowship, and a former fellow of the Vanguard Think Tank. His work focuses on leadership, national security, strategy, political philosophy, and institutional reform, with an emphasis on strengthening American institutions and advancing effective governance. Seth is the author of The Unconventionals, which examines the lives of extraordinary military commanders who challenged convention and transformed history through independent thinking and moral courage. His broader writing explores the relationship between power, responsibility, and freedom, offering insights into the principles that underpin strong leadership and resilient democratic systems. He is also an Op-Ed writer for The Modern Treatise, focusing on Libertarian perspectives. Seth also writes The Unlicensed Philosopher; a Substack focused on the philosophy of the world and the times as he sees them.
