Welcome back to the Political Awareness newsletter! With the calendar flipped to August, much of our intern cohort will disperse across the country to return to their college campuses. However, our newsletter team will continue to issue monthly editions of educational political content for the foreseeable future. This week, we examine the Japanese-American foreign policy relationship, European trade negotiations, and the domestic political updates of the past week.
